What is Escape Game Chamonix?

Escape Game Chamonix is an exciting interactive live escape room game- a reality group entertainment (60 minutes of fun!) Once locked inside our fully emmersive themed room, you work as a team to find clues and solve puzzles to escape within 60 minutes.

It's my first time!   What if we don't finish in time?   Will it be scary?

Great! We hope you'll be as hooked as we were after our first time in an escape room! You may have the chance to play for an extra 5 minutes if there is time. If you don't finish in 60 (or 65) minutes your Games Master will walk you through the final puzzles (unless you would like to return). Our current theme isn't scary at all, nothing will jump out or touch you and there are no actors inside- all the surprises will be fun!

How much time does it take?

Slots are booked in 1hr 30 minute chunks. You'll be greeted by your Games Master who explains the game to you, shows you how to operate certain locks, then safely locks away your coats/bags/mobile phones (not allowed in the games room, but we have chargers!) for the duration of the game (this takes roughly 5-10 minutes). Then your game will begin- this can take a maximum of 65 minutes. Once you've escaped (hopefully!) you'll have your picture taken with your winning time and gather your things (roughly 5 mins).

Can I bring my children / baby / dog?

Our rooms are designed for adults in both gameplay and safety. We do allow children to accompany you under your supervision, under 5's go free. Please bear in mind that you'd be better with a baby carrier than a pushchair- due to limited space. Although we love doggies, it's not going to be a fun experience for Fido, so best to leave him where you are staying. Our games masters are busy following your game so cannot baby/doggy-sit, we can put you in touch with our babysitter friends Baby-Cham if you need. Under 18's MUST have an adult in the room as part of the booked group.

I'm in!   How do I make a booking?

To see our available rooms and time slots visit our booking page here... Payment is needed in full to book a room time slot.

Can I book last minute?

Our booking system will not allow you to book online within 2 hours (24 hours in interseason). There may be a slot available for you but we cannot guarantee it so we strongly advise to book in advance to avoid missing out! You can contact us to check here...or via the chat box below

What's the price?

Our pricing is dependent on the amount of players you have in your team- the more players the cheaper it is per person! Children have a reduced rate and we have changed our system so that 1 adult can now play in a group with children (previously we stated 2 adults). All teams must have 2-6 players (playing alone is no fun, more people than that gets cramped) so grab some buddies!

What if I'm late? What's your cancellation policy?

Your game starts 10 minutes after the start of your slot, this 10 minutes is used to introduce you to the game. Your delay time will be deducted from your game timer (and you really need those 60 minutes!) As we cannot extend on the next slot (the game master also needs time to put the pieces in order for the next game). Any arrival after 20 minutes of delay will result in the cancellation of the game with no refund possible. Cancellations: If you wish to cancel your game you must contact us asap via email at We will issue a full refund for cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance of your game time.
For cancellations less than 48 hours in advance of your start time, we will do our best to offer you an exchange for another time slot, this will be at the discretion of the managers and subject to availability.
You may be able to claim the cancellation of a game for injury or travel delays from your travel insurance, but we are not responsible for that.

Where do I park?  How do I get to you?

We are situated in Cham Sud, the lively area with many bars and restaurants including Monkey Bar and the Beckett & Wilde. There is free, shared, public parking right next to us, or we are within a short walking distance from the town centre, or the Chamonix Sud bus stop or Chamonix Sud train station (Aiguille du Midi). Parking is always a little busy in peak times so we recommend walking or the free public transport. You'll see a co-working office space called The Ski Locker, follow that around to it's far left. Then you'll spot our signs on the window and in the archway. Ring our doorbell. We'll come and let you in and guide you downstairs to our fabulous underground den!

Do you have a toilet? Drinks / food?

We do have a toilet, yes! We have no food or drink facilities currently because frankly we could never compete with the brilliant surrounding cafe's (during the day) and bars and restaurants- so grab yourself some refreshments before or after.
